Stupid enough for a blueprint?

Here I am wondering what to do with all these finished, previously self-published, novels. It is a promisingly gloomy day outside and the prospect of rain has me all excited, energetic enough to realise that I might have something tangible now to get some grip back beneath my soles. Self-publishing to the extent of my works being available amongst the AI slop filled digital shelves of Amazon is no longer an option, sure they might retain some rights to showcase my previously published books with them due to the customers who already bought them needing "updates". But I dont plan on giving them anything else, instead, stay with me, I am looking to approach publishers directly or via an agent with future projects. My previously published works are currently being tidied up, edited once again and in some places chopped down to re-release as new editions that I will personally order prints of to sell directly to anyone interested.

Just had an idea while typing this; maybe I could turn a page on the website into somewhat of a catalogue, leave my details there for anyone to enquire about ordering direclty through me instead. I order a print, they pay me when it arrives. Much more personal for people in my circle wanting to read. Maybe, maybe that could work.

Fuck, I forgot I put the kettle on. One minute.

Alright, I am back with a tea. What was I talking about?

Right, so I am going to be submitting future works to agents/publishers, previously completed work will now be edited and available but in limited print to those that contact me for a copy (maybe I will order a bunch) and otherwise I will just continue writing.

Anyway, other business. The charity has just taken in six new dogs, soon to be seven, and it has become an all hands on deck situation. It is always exciting when we get new dogs to rehabiliate, rescue and rehome, this time we are handling some beautiful boys and girls that seem relatively relaxed for the most part. This is what rescue work is meant to be, taking in animals with no other options and finding them a safe, loved and comforting place in this world.

Angel is hanging in here still, her appetite is getting worse and worse even with the meds and she is becoming noticably sleepier as the days roll past. I think we are entering her final month or so, I truly hope not, but we are just taking every day to tell her we love her and keeping her comfortable. It is going to be so fucking weird without her around, something I am not sure I am actually prepared for - even if I have been telling everyone I am ready for it to happen. Are we ever?

I think I have prattled on enough for an afternoon, keep praying for rain and watch the skies you glossy little fledgelings.
